FAQ

Any advice concerning my mixes?

1- Above all, do not overcompress your mix!

For example, if you have inserted a multi-tracking compressor/limiter on the Master track
of your favorite multi-tracking software, our engineer will then be unable to change anything during the master.

The shape of your wave must look like the one on the left. If the shape of your wave looks like the
one on the right, it means you have overcompressed your track, hence it killed off its dynamics and musicality.

2- Above all, do not normalize your mix. (You would be killing off hours of work)

3- Always keep in mind the fact that if you want a "present" master, you have to pay attention to
the drums and voice buses (do not hesitate to add a few dB once your mixing is done). This technique
allows you to get very powerful sound, because the compressions are activated with rythmical and
voice-based attacks.

4- If you can afford it, we advise you to do an analogical summation. It's always a + for the mastering.
