PQ, ISRC and UPC/EAN codes, what are these?

The PQ codes are the beginning and end of track markers, which are written down on the CD's index.

The ISRC codes (International Standard Recording Code) stand for your digital print oneach track of
your Cd.

You will find here the nearest agency, so that you can register.

The EAN number identifies articles or logistic unities in a unique way. In the form of a bar code, the
number can be read by an optical scanner.

The UPC code is actually an EAN code starting by 0 (zero). EAN is a global system meant to the
univocal identification of objects.

The EAN is composed of 8 or 13 numbers represented in the form of black and white stripes
sequences, which constitute a bar code.

This type of bar code can be found in almost all the common products (food, clothes, hardware,
stationery, electrical goods, etcetera).

     * It's the code that is read at the supermarket checkout.

There are EAN 8 and EAN 13 codes, respectively composed of 8 or 13 numbers.

There is no obligation for you to have these codes in order to create your own records or CD.
